It may seem as if my life consists of parading around Davis and trying out all the cool coffee shops, but in reality I’m usually at home watching Downton Abbey or biking around campus. This final Coffee and Clothes post is dedicated to those girls who want a simple everyday look for going to class, running errands, or just spending a relaxing weekend in.
This quarter I’m taking a design of coffee class, so I decided to put my skills to the test and make this DIY fall drink — perfect for someone looking for a little sweetness in their life 😉
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 cup milk
1/4 cup caramel
2 cups coffee
First, stir together the milk, caramel sauce and brown sugar in a small saucepan. This drink only took me about ten minutes and was super easy (even I could make it).
Next, pour your coffee and milk mixture into a mug and top with whipped cream and more caramel sauce.
This drink is yummy, made with love, and better than anything you can find at Starbucks! Let me know in the comments if you decide to make it!
This is my go-to outfit for when I wake up late and need to get out the door (aka everyday). It’s easy and comfortable, but still looks put together! I like how the masculine shape of the tank top looks underneath the delicate knit of the sweater. Plus, the stripes add some fun dimension to an otherwise plain look. I’m also loving green lately (as seen in my last Coffee and Clothes outfit) because it adds some color to my neutral wardrobe. This look is perfect for fall!
Tank Top: Madewell
Sweater: Brandy Melville
Booties: Steve Madden
Belt: Nick, my photographer
I’ve had so much fun with this trilogy and I’m sad to see it come to a clothes (pun intended lol). Leave me a comment with what you’d like to see on the blog in the future!
